The New York Giants ' promising Week 4 game has taken a turn for the worse.
On a day when rookie Jaxson Dart made his NFL debut and scored early, all the attention was shifted to Malik Nabers when the star receiver was injured in the second quarter.
Nabers, while attempting to jump for a deep pass from Dart, stumbled on his lift-off and came down in what appeared to be serious pain while holding his right knee.
Nabers was down on the field for several minutes before being carted off to the locker room.
The Giants were leading the Los Angeles Chargers 10-3 at the time of the injury midway through the second quarter. Nabers had two catches for 20 yards before leaving the game.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
