A mass shooting at a Michigan church has left at least two people dead, nine others injured and the building on fire, police say.
The Grand Blanc Township Police Department posted to Facebook shortly after 11 a.m., saying there were "multiple" victims at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township. Later, police gave an update as firefighters worked to control the blaze. Videos posted to social media showed the building engulfed in flames.
"There are multiple victims and the shooter is down" at the church, at 4285 McCandlish Road in Grand Blanc, the police department said. "There is NO threat to the public at this time. ...
