The Philadelphia Eagles might rely on the Tush Push in short-yardage situations, but they showed that they have a few more tricks up their sleeve during Week 4.
Early on in the Eagles' Week 4 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Eagles scored two touchdowns off of short-yardage shovel passes. While those were not necessarily scenarios for the Tush Push, the shovel pass wrinkles felt like a very pointed nod to the Eagles' penchant for the play.
Then in the third quarter, the Eagles offense went full petty by faking the Tush Push with a handoff to Saquon Barkley, who went in untouched for a touchdown. While the score didn't put the game away for the Eagles, the play call definitely felt like a shot at all of Philadelphia's haters who say they can't run short-yardage scoring plays outside of the Tush Push.
