The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $160 million, with a cash value of $74.2 million ahead of the next drawing, according to Powerball.

This marks a new opportunity for players after no ticket matched all six numbers in the previous draw.

While the big whale remains elusive, smaller prizes such as $1 million, $150,000, and $50,000 have been awarded to lucky players.

The next drawing is scheduled for Monday. The jackpot was last won on May 31 by a player in California, according to Powerball.

If someone matches all six numbers, they can choose between the full prize or the lump sum payout.

To have a chance of winning, players will need to get into the game by purchasing a $2 Powerball ticket. That ticket will get players into the drawing and from there, it’s all luck.
