ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints made it interesting in the fourth quarter (trailing 21-19), but couldn’t deliver a victory in Buffalo. Coach Kellen Moore’s team is now 0-4 after losing to the Super Bowl-contending Bills, 31-19.
The loss ended the Saints’ four-game winning streak in Buffalo. New Orleans entered the game a 15½-point underdog.
Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler, playing on his 25th birthday, threw one touchdown pass on the afternoon, connecting with Chris Olave on a 3-yard score.
Later, he threw behind a wide-open Brandin Cooks in the end zone, falling incomplete. Instead of a touchdown, New Orleans settled for a field goal, cutting their deficit to two points.
