ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Former Utah safety Cole Bishop saw right through the Saints’ trick play and prevented a touchdown with his first career interception on Sunday.
New Orleans tried to have a receiver throw a TD to quarterback Spencer Rattler, but Bishop was there to force the turnover with a crazy one-handed grab.
After becoming a starter in the Bills’ secondary last season, Bishop has carved out a role for himself with solid tackling and an understanding of Buffalo’s scheme.
In 2024, he forced a fumble, but he had yet to pull down his first interception as a pro. That changed in week four, and it happened in highlight fashion.
Because of that play, the Bills were able to keep their 14-10 lead as the game went into halftime.
