TAMPA, Fla. — Eagles star right tackle Lane Johnson suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter against the Buccaneers on Sunday and is questionable to return.
Johnson is walking around and stretching on the sidelines. He has missed the last three drives.
This is the second straight week where Johnson has left due to injury. He suffered a stringer on opening drive of the Eagles’ Week 3 win over the Rams and never returned.
Veteran backup Matt Pryor replaced Johnson in the first half against the Rams, struggled for two quarters and got benched in the second half for Fred Johnson.
The Eagles have gone back to Fred Johnson against the Buccaneers. He is a solid backup, but the Eagles’ offense usually falls apart when Lane Johnson doesn’t play.
