ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Kellen Moore paced the sideline, folded his playsheet and grabbed a tablet to try and see what went wrong.
For most of the afternoon, the New Orleans Saints coach’s team hung tough a week after getting blown out west. But in the heat of Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills, Moore did not seem interested in moral victories. He wanted an actual win, and a fourth-down stop late in the fourth quarter made that increasingly more difficult.
And Moore did not get his wish. Facing one of the best teams in the NFL, the Saints fell 31-19 as New Orleans fell to 0-4 on the season.
