Former NFL star safety and potential future Hall of Fame inductee Eric Weddle was suspended one game from his high school head coaching job, and the longtime Chargers star isn’t happy about it.
After retiring as a Super Bowl 56 champion with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022, Eric Weddle accepted an offer to become the new head coach of the Rancho Bernardo High School football team in San Diego.
On Friday afternoon, Weddle revealed on X/Twitter that he was suspended for this week’s game against San Diego because of an incident involving his assistants in the previous game vs. West Covina:
“It’s really unfortunate that I’m not coaching tonight for my kids. @CIFSS suspended me from my assistants mis hap on sideline with refs at West Covina. I did nothing wrong. How does that make sense. My boy
