An Arizona woman has died from injuries suffered in a crash Wednesday evening in the Town of Colden, the Erie County Sheriff's Office reported Sunday.

According to the report, Anne Archibald, 39, of Tempe, died about 1:15 a.m. Sunday in Erie County Medical Center.

She was found in a vehicle in a ditch at Health and Hayes Hollow roads by a Traffic Unit sergeant who was heading home after the end of his shift after dispatchers received a report of a crash about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office said.

The sergeant, along with Erie County Emergency Medical Services and the Colden Fire Department, performed CPR on Archibald. After they detected a pulse, she was taken to ECMC by the Erie County EMS. An investigation is continuing.
