Legendary N.J. rock star Jon Bon Jovi recently weighed in on his thoughts about his son, Jake Bongiovi, marrying “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown in their early 20s.

“We blessed it because we get it, you know? They’re sorta mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young,” Jon Bon Jovi said during Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast , according to report on Fox News .

“Her and Jake fell in love and we just thought, ‘OK, we’ll support this.’ And it’s working out,” he said.

Bon Jovi said he also found love at a young age.

He and and his wife Dorothea Hurley Bongiovi met at Sayreville War Memorial High School in Parlin in 1980 and were high school sweethearts.

They didn’t get married , however, until 1989,
