Latina business owners in Jacksonville are joining forces to create new opportunities through a recently launched networking initiative, the Latina CEO Club, which held its inaugural meeting at TikiJava Jax during Hispanic Heritage Month.
“Latina business owners are missing social capital. Your network is your networth,” said Alejandra Amegin, co-founder of the Latina CEO Club. The organization aims to expand nationwide from its Jacksonville launch.
The club builds on Jacksonville’s growing reputation as a hub for Hispanic entrepreneurs. The city ranks 15th among the best cities for Hispanic entrepreneurs nationwide, according to a recent WalletHub study.
