Grove City College students told to lock doors due to 'potentially dangerous situation'

GROVE CITY, Pa. - An alert from Grove City College says there is a potentially dangerous situation at the college library.

The email alert went out at 4:29 p.m. Sunday saying there was a potentially dangerous situation at the campus library.

The alert went on to tell students to lock themselves inside and avoid that area.

An update 15 minutes later said to stay inside and follow the directions of law enforcement.

A staging area has been set up according to Pennsylvania State Police.

There's no word yet on the nature of the situation but we have a crew on scene gathering information.
