LANSFORD, Pa. — Around 10 a.m. on Sunday, an armed robbery took place at the Boyers Food Market in Lansford.
According to the Lansford Police Department Facebook page, a juvenile entered the Boyers Food Market and informed the cashier that he was robbing the store.
Police say they had a pistol on them and requested the money from the cashier. Once the cashier gave them the money, the suspect left the food market.
Shortly after, the Lansford Police apprehended the suspect. Nobody in the store was harmed, but the store was temporarily shut down.
