DETROIT — Detroit Lions offensive coordinator John Morton said the Cleveland Browns hadn’t seen a rushing attack like theirs going into Week 4.

It looks like Morton was right.

The Lions rushed for 109 yards — led by Jahmyr Gibbs’ 91-yard performance — in a 34-10 victory over the Browns on Sunday, which was the most any team has picked up on the ground this season against Cleveland’s top-ranked rushing defense.

Detroit (3-1) averaged 3.8 yards per carry, a mark that is over one yard per attempt better than the other three teams that have faced Cleveland this season.

The Lions maintaining a solid rushing game against the Browns drew praise from Cleveland’s star edge rusher Myles Garrett after the matchup.
