Dolly Parton has postponed six December concerts at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. In a message to fans, the country music legend shared that "health challenges" she's been dealing with have derailed rehearsals for the concerts. "I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts," she wrote on Instagram. "As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000 mile check-up, although it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!" Parton continued that she wouldn't be able to give the fans the performance "that you deserve to see" and that she wants "to be at my best for you". She needs time to "get show ready". But she also calmed any fears that anything too serious was amiss. "Don't worry about me quittin' the business because God hasn't said anything about stopping yet," she wrote. "But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures in life." The concerts were set for 4 to 13 December, and would have marked the Jolene singer's first time playing Vegas since 1993. "I love you and thank you for understanding," Parton signed her note.
