Firefighters safely mitigated an ammonia leak Sunday at a commercial facility in Buena Park, authorities said.
Firefighters were dispatched at 7:25 a.m. Sunday to the 6500 block of Caballero Boulevard, a coupe blocks west of Knott Avenue, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Some evacuations and “shelter in place” warnings were in effect, authorities said.
“Our Hazardous Materials Response Team responded,” the fire department added. “Our HazMat firefighters entered the building, safely mitigated the leak, and searched the building. Nobody was injured.”
