The Redblacks have a 4-10 record this season, which is the worst record among the nine CFL teams. With only four games remaining, the Redblacks likely will not qualify for the CFL playoffs. Calgary, at 8-6, is battling for a West Division or crossover playoff spot.

Mauldin was an East Division and league all-star in both 2022 and 2024 and was voted the CFL’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2022.
