FOXBOROUGH — After the Patriots ’ 42-13 win over Carolina on Sunday, Harold Landry III was thinking about Terrell Williams.
Mike Vrabel revealed earlier this week that Williams, New England’s defensive coordinator, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Landry played in Tennessee when Williams was the defensive line coach and is back with him in New England after signing as a free agent this year.
“He knows everybody here is thinking about him. He’s meant a lot to me in my career and he’s touched a lot of guys throughout his years in the league,” Landry said. “He’s a super special person. Obviously, a great coach, but an even better person. He knows that we’re all praying for him.”
Landry hoped Williams liked what he saw on the field.
