CASPER -- The 3A Rawlins volleyball team battled tough 4A teams in the Casper Volleyball Invitational this weekend.

It has been a tough start to the season for the Outlaws, and taking on competition in a higher division only made things more difficult. However, perhaps seeing how the 4A teams operate can help Rawlins in their future matches against conference opponents.

Though the Outlaws did not leave Casper with any more wins under their belts, they managed to keep most of their sets competitive. They dropped matches to Laramie, Star Valley, East and two to Central.
