Kaidon Salter reflects on costly mistakes in Colorado’s loss to BYU
Colorado let a 14–0 lead slip away and fell 24–21 at home to No. 25 BYU. Quarterback Kaidon Salter took the defeat personally, pointing to mistakes he says he can’t afford to repeat.
“We just got to be more disciplined,” Salter admitted. “Got to take what they give me and take the easy throws. Just keep working on the scramble drill when plays break down and be able to complete those passes.”

His late interception ended Colorado’s final chance at a comeback on Saturday night. “Most definitely. I feel like…I did too much trying to make plays,” Salter said.
