HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Two men were shot on Brook Street in Hartford Sunday evening. One has died and the other is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police responded to the scene at about 8:52 p.m. and found a man with gunshot wounds.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

A second man drove himself to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police later determined that both victims were shot near 131 Brook Street.

Police Major Crimes Division and Crime Scene Division is actively investigating this incident.
