New single-family housing developments are rare in much of the Valley these days, particularly in mostly built up communities like Glendale.
But at least one is left in the southern part of the city is on the way, and it is the last piece of an even more rare multi-city residential community.
The Glendale Planning Commission unanimously approved a preliminary plat for Legacy Place Phase 2, at the southeast corner of 75th and Northern avenues during its Sept. 25 meeting. While it is the second phase in Glendale, Legacy Place has five phases, with three of them north of Northern.
“This is actually pretty exciting. This is our last phase of Legacy Place, two of which reside in Glendale, the other three in Peoria,” said Joshua Robinson with Colliers Engineering and Design.
