ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

A flash flood warning has been issued for Bernalillo County until 10:15 p.m. MDT on Sunday, September 28.

The National Weather Service Albuquerque advises for residents to immediately move to higher ground and avoid walking or driving through flood waters.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Southeastern Albuquerque, South Valley and Carnuel.

Officials also warn to stay out of arroyos due to the heavy rain runoff.
