Lamar Jackson is the undisputed leader of Ravens ‘ locker room. Even though the team had a bad 1-2 start to the 2025 season, he excelled with 54 of 75 (72% completion rate) for 722 passing yards and 9 touchdowns. Things were going smoothly for him until everything came crashing down.

Arrowhead turned into Gladiator Arena on September 28. At the 8:10 mark in the 3rd quarter, on 3rd and 3 down, the Ravens trailed the Chiefs by 13-27. Lamar Jackson, the best of the Ravens and their quarterback, tried to rush the ball. Chiefs DE George Karlaftis aimed at his legs while DE Charles Omenihu and LB Nick Bolton also tackled him. He went down to never rise again in the game. The QB injured his hamstring and was taken straight to the sidelines.
