1 Art This Way has been active since 2016. How has the community’s view of public murals changed in that time?
Hall: This community has long had the appetite and appreciation for a robust arts and culture scene in downtown Fort Wayne. Long before Art This Way began, our community was ripe for investment in more public art, and all they needed was someone to administer the programming. Reflecting on our nearly 10 years of installing public artwork, the real hurdle has always been identifying funding for the arts and the administrative lift of program facilitation.
This community has embraced the Art This Way program, and we look forward to another 10 years of enriching downtown Fort Wayne.
