ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons looked rudderless on offense to start the season. Coming into Week 4, they were second-to-last in the NFL in scoring. The last time they took the field, they put forth a putrid showing, held scoreless by the far-from-impressive Carolina Panthers.
Things were so bad that Falcons Coach Raheem Morris fired their wide receivers coach the next day. He proceeded to announce that offensive coordinator Zac Robinson would switch from calling plays in the press box to the sideline. The offense seemed like it was headed nowhere fast.
