MONROE, La. (KNOE) - From puzzles to painting and everything in between, the Northeast Louisiana Children’s Museum transformed into a playground of possibilities on Saturday in celebration of the annual World Wide Day of Play.

The national initiative, designed to encourage children to put down their screens and engage in hands-on fun, brought families from across the region to the museum for a full day of creativity, connection, and movement.

“We are the home of play,” a museum staff member said. “We want everyone to come. It’s a great opportunity to spend time with your family and play while you learn.”

Activities ran from morning until closing time, offering families the chance to slow down, explore together, and embrace the power of play.
