Neighbor reacts to deaths of neighbor, officer after domestic violence incident leads to shooting

HAYS, Kan. (KAKE) - Neighbors that live along Downing Avenue in Hays say that the street is normally quiet and peaceful, a place you let your kids play outside without a watchful eye. But on Saturday night, it was filled with the sound of gunshots and police sirens instead after a domestic violence incident led to an the death of a Hays Police Officer.
