The facelifted Audi Q7 range was only launched in Australia a few months ago, but when it comes to testing the base-spec variant, it’s a case of better late than never.

Audi’s recent launch event combined this and the larger Q8 , but the new entry-level Q7 45 TFSI variant – as it was then named, more on that in a second – wasn’t available to drive. It’s here now, and has been treated to the same light refresh as the broader Q7 lineup.

For 2025, the second-generation Q7 received yet another facelift, which brought revised lighting, bumpers, and intakes. This is as minor as it sounds as far as updates are concerned, although its tech was updated to bring it closer in line with the newest Audi cars.
