Netflix is rolling out a bunch of new releases on its platform this week. While it’s a quieter week than usual, there are still some standout releases worth checking out going into October.
“Monster: The Ed Gein Story” drops this week, marking the third installment in Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s acclaimed anthology series. The new season delves into the life of Ed Gein, the notorious 1950s Wisconsin murderer and grave robber whose gruesome acts inspired iconic horror movies like “Psycho,” “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre” and “The Silence of the Lambs.”
But that’s not all worth your time this week. There are both seasons of the “Halo” series, the Oscar-winning war movie “The Hurt Locker,” and new releases like “Steve,” a British drama starring Cillian Murphy as the headteacher of a strugg
