Taylor Swift is the biggest music star in the world right now and a performance by her at the Super Bowl likely would be a ratings bonanza for the NFL.

Swift reportedly walked away from talks with the NFL about performing at Super Bowl 60 on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, when the league refused to accept a key demand from the pop singer.
Rob Shuter reports Swift wanted “to retain ownership of her performance and secure slots promoting her own projects.” But the NFL, which is used to acts performing for free at the Super Bowl in order to get exposure, refused the demand, Shuter reports.
