1. Ashbrook (6-0, 2-0 Big South 5A/6A)

Last week: defeated North Gaston, 44-0

The scoop: Ashbrook earned its first shutout of the season, exerting its will against an overmatched North Gaston team. A.J. McClain threw for two touchdowns and rushed for another. The Green Wave defense produced points as well with Quamell Scott and Makylin Hinton scoring touchdowns on a fumble recovery and an interception, respectively.

2. East Lincoln (6-0, 4-0 Western Foothills 4A/5A)
