A huge rock band which has been dubbed ‘one of the most imaginative bands of our time’ have announced they are coming back with a big reunion tour next year.
Welsh supergroup Super Furry Animals, who are behind songs like Something 4 The Weekend, Northern Lites, and Do or Die, will bring the Six Supacabra Britain and Ireland Tour to venues next May.
Founded in 1993, the band released their debut album Fuzzy Logic in 1996 to critical acclaim. During 13 years, the band scored four top ten albums in the UK. Their last album, Dark Days/Light Years, was released in 2009.
The band played a significant role in the Cool Cymru music scene of the 90s and 00s, which also included Welsh acts like Catatonia, Stereophonics and Manic Street Preachers.
