Eddie Howe admits 'huge blow' as Newcastle star stretchered out in Arsenal defeat

Newcastle United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in their sixth Premier League clash of the season on September 28 at St. James' Park.

After Nick Woltemade found the back of the net for Newcastle from an assist by Sandro Tonali in the 34th minute, the Magpies' head coach, Eddie Howe, was forced to replace Tino Livramento on the pitch with Jamaal Lascelles in the 77th minute.

Livramento went down with a misguided challenge from Arsenal's William Saliba, prompting medical attention, and was then stretchered off the pitch.
