MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) -- An investigation is ongoing after a man was found shot in Miami County.

Our 2 NEWS crew spoke with Steve Lord, chief deputy with the Miami County Sheriff's Office, who said that the man was found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.

It was determined that the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. Sunday night near the intersection of Farrington Road and County Road 25-A.

The man was taken to an area hospital by CareFlight. We are working to learn his condition.
