At least four senior officials have resigned from their positions in the People’s Development Party (PDP), signaling internal changes within the newly formed political group.

Those who stepped down include Administrative Secretary Bessie Chirambo, Treasurer Kennedy Kephas, Youth Director Austin Nsopela, and International Relations Director Macdonald Mizati.

In a further blow to the party, Kephas, Nsopela, and Mizati have also announced their complete withdrawal from PDP membership.

Explaining his departure, Nsopela said he intends to focus on his personal life. Mizati, on the other hand, cited changing family circumstances beyond his control as the reason for his decision to leave.
