The Massachusetts state trooper who was seriously hurt, allegedly by a person driving a stolen motorcycle over the summer in Revere Beach , has taken a major step in his recovery process.

Lieutenant Donald Bossi was released Friday from Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, and will continue to recuperate from his home, Massachusetts State Police announced. Bossi stopped at his barracks in Revere to reunite with his fellow troopers on his way home.
