SALEM TOWNSHIP, Minn. — Olmsted County Deputies responded to an ATV accident on Sunday near the 7800 block of County Road 117 SW.

Around 5:45 pm, deputies found a side-by-side ATV overturned in the woods.

The male driver was unconscious and trapped inside. Deputies say they successfully removed him, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service transported him to the hospital. His condition remains unknown.

A female passenger was not transported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
