In anticipation of the upcoming Kartik Brata 2025, Superintendent of Police (SP) Puri Prateek Singh chaired a high-level preparatory meeting with senior officers to review security and logistical arrangements.

Puri Police reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safety, security, and smooth conduct of the month-long religious activities. The meeting focused on crowd management, traffic control, emergency response readiness, and coordination with temple authorities and civic bodies.

Special attention will be given to:

Deployment of additional police personnel across key locations

Installation of CCTV surveillance and drone monitoring

Medical aid stations and fire safety protocols

Streamlined traffic routes and parking zones for pilgrims

Coordination with volunteers and temple servitors
