The 21st Judicial District is holding a warrant forgiveness day Oct. 18 for people with warrants for petty offenses, traffic offenses, misdemeanors and low-level felonies.

The event, which will be held from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce St.

“The goal is to help people with active warrants get a new date and potentially even close their entire case,” Judge Michael Grattan said.

No arrests will be made for those with qualifying warrants, Grattan said. Qualifying warrants include those for petty offenses, traffic offenses, misdemeanors, level six felonies, level five felonies, level four drug felonies, and probation violations stemming from any of the above types of charges.
