Dan Monares listens though his tin can "receiver" to a classmate at the other end of the wire while Robert Busser waits his turn during a telephone simulation exercise, one of the many activities designed to introduced seventh-grade students to the world of technical and personal communication. The boys are students in Pam Mannon's class at Conrad Ball Middle School. Local business people have participated in the class by judging advertising posters created by the students as part of the lessons in communication and marketing."
