CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Gavin Lux had a lot going through his head when the Los Angeles Dodgers traded him to the Cincinnati Reds in January. The team that drafted him and the team that he had just won a World Series with was moving on from him, which created some understandable shock.
Then, Gavin Lux saw what the Reds traded to get him: Outfielder Mike Sirota, now the No. 62 prospect in MLB, and a first-round pick in the 2025 MLB Draft.
“When you see that, you know they believe in you,” Lux said. “They wanted me here. That’s a really good feeling.
