Motorists are bracing for a fortnight of disruption as work begins on a new pedestrian crossing on the A84 near Stirling . ‌

BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland , is set to begin work on installing new pedestrian crossing facilities on the A84 near Dobbies on the western outskirts of Stirling, starting from Wednesday, October 1. ‌

The project will involve the installation of a refuge island, dropped kerbs and tactile paving. ‌

Additionally, road markings and studs along the stretch of road will be refreshed, and signs alerting road users to the new crossing will be installed.

The works will take place between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with completion expected by Thursday, October 16.
