Banks in several parts of the country will remain closed tomorrow, September 30, on account of Durga Puja (Maha Ashtami/Durga Ashtami), which marks the eighth day of the festival in the Hindu month of Ashwin.
According to the holiday calendar released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) , banks in Agartala, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Imphal, Jaipur, Kolkata and Ranchi will remain shut.

Apart from this, banks in different regions will remain closed during the first week of October.
On October 1, banks in Agartala, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Itanagar, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shillong and Thiruvananthapuram will be shut on account of the conclusion of Navaratri.
