Flacco Fever has well and truly disappeared in Cleveland.

After another poor performance by quarterback Joe Flacco in the Cleveland Browns ' 34-10 defeat to the surging Detroit Lions , the 18-year veteran's time as the starter under center could be coming to a close .

After completing just 16-of-34 passes for 184 yards and two interceptions, and with the game out of sight, Flacco was eventually taken out of the game for Dillon Gabriel to lead the final possession.

The 24-year-old rookie had just one pass attempt that was incomplete.

With Flacco now having thrown more interceptions (six) on the season than touchdowns (two), along with completing just 58.1 percent of his passes for 815 yards, there have been calls for the 40-year-old to be benched .
