Hits and misses
From a team standpoint, India remained unbeaten across seven matches. Sri Lanka pushed them to a Super Over in an inconsequential Super 4s clash, while the final against Pakistan went down to the very last over.
Pakistan enjoyed a strong run barring their three defeats to India, while defending champions Sri Lanka faltered with unexpected losses against Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Afghanistan, despite early promise, fell short and failed to progress to the Super 4s.
