COLUMBUS, Ohio - Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night talk show returned to dozens of local TV stations Friday night after Sinclair Broadcast Group and Nexstar Media Group ended a weeklong blackout triggered by the comedian’s remarks following the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the Associated Press reports .
The companies suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Sept. 17, citing concerns over Kimmel’s comments, which they deemed insensitive.
