Massachusetts' Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released a summary of the 2025 MCAS testing scores administered in public schools across the state, and the results suggest that students continue to struggle in core subjects compared to pre-pandemic performance.
State education officials said that the results underscore the focus of addressing chronic absenteeism as well as improving early literacy.
