Edgewater, coming off a school-record, 84-point performance in a shutout of Lyman on Friday, remained atop the Sentinel’s Super 16 Coaches Poll for the fourth week in a row. The Eagles (6-0) gained 14 of the 15 first-place votes.

Orlando’s The First Academy (4-2) gained the other first-place vote, but remained stationary at No. 4, while Jones and Bishop Moore flip-flopped from last week, with Jones moving into the No. 2 slot.

The big news of the week was Seminole, which had fallen out of the Super 16 two weeks ago for the first time since 2015. The Seminoles jumped back in and all the way up to No. 12 after an impressive dismantling of Lake Brantley, which went into Sanford undefeated Friday, but left humbled after a 43-21 defeat.
